September 15, 2006, Thaddeus and I started work on the Carriage House. We completed it on December 20, 2007, just in time for a family to come for Christmas. My Grandmother (90), my Mother (will not tell) and my Aunt (who will kill if I tell) all came to test-drive the amenities.

The Carriage House was a big hit! We have had many guests since who have all enjoyed their stay with us. Two of the most charming events that I personally enjoy are: The church bells down the block ring three times a day.  (9:00am, 12:00pm & 5:00pm) the second is the clopping of horse hooves as the carriages go by the house on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. I love to sit outside in the garden watching fire flies and listen as the carriages go by.

The view from the Carriage House is of West Mountain and part of Hot Springs National Park, as is Whittington Park. Big, beautiful trees surround Bella Vista yet only a block from Downtown Historical Hot Springs.

The Carriage House offers two suites. Magnolia and Fuschia are the suites available at this time. The main house is under restoration and estimated completion date is 2013. Be sure to list your e-mail address and we will keep you updated with our progress.
